Refurbishment of the BTP Conference & Information Centre is now complete

After purchasing the building from the QLD State Government in December 2011, the BTP Conference & Information Centre is now completely refurbished. 
New reception and display area, boardroom & meeting facilities, office suites in both upper wings as well as the onsite Cafe are all unrecognisable from before. 
Only three office suites remain avalable and boardroom bookings are required well in advance.

Brisbane Technology Park celebrates its 25 Year Anniversary

Graystone and BTP Services jointly hosted a 25 Year celebration at the BTP Conference & Information Centre. Lord Mayor Graham Quirk, and past QLD Premier the Honourable Mike Ahern both attended in Guest of Honour roles, speaking of BTP's success.

Courier Mail highlights Brisbane Technology Plans 

Graystone proudly released the new masterplan for Brisbane Technology Park, with plans to add another 14 new buildings, a hotel and two car parking station over the next 5 years.

BTP Insider Released 

Brisbane Technology Park has released its first edition of the BTP Insider. The publication will aim to connect the 104 or more businesses which operate within the park.

Each edition which will be circulated monthly will encompass news of park development, infrastructure upgrades and tenant news. This Summer edition of the BTP Insider covers the following stories;

DECEMBER 2011

Seymour White commit to new building at BTP

12 Electronics is set to begin construction by June next year following committment from Seymour White to occupy the first floor of the planned 2,500 square metre building.
The ground floor is available to lease for businesses requiring from 250 square metres of office space. 
The building is second project undertaken within the BTP Central Precinct, set to provide over 10,000 square metres over the next 3-4 years.

Graystone supports local charity, Clear Thinking 

ClearThinking volenteer Louise Bellchambers brought a new level of transparency and focus to the issues surrounding mental health by living in the ClearThinking cube for 100 hours in the middle of Brisbane's Kind George Square. 

Graystone provided the scaffolding to elevate the cube at the centre of King George square in an effort to emphasise the scale of the crisis facing youth mental health.

37 Brandl Street Underway

Construction is progressing well on the newest addition to Brisbane Technology Park. 
Tilt panels have been erected and floor plates are starting to take shape. The project is anticipated for completion by April 2012. The building will comprise two levels of office over one level of secure basement storage and carparking. 

THURS 28 APRIL 2011 

88 Brandl Street Completed

Graystone's latest BTP project, 88 Brandl Street reached completion at the end of April. The buildings major tenant, Zernike have moved into their new serviced office facility to be known as The Exchange, and fitout works for the remaining tenants are expected to be completed shortly.

$7.2M Facility complete
Graystone issued a Certificate of Practical Completion today for a new $7.2M facility designed and constructed for Symbio. The 3,300sqm building will be home to Symbio's extensive food and chemistry testing laboratories

$14M Development underway
Graystone commenced construction today on a new 3,400 sqm building at 88 Brandl Street in Brisbane Technology Park. The $14M building has been designed to incorporate a number of green features including multiple zoned air-conditioning, solar hot water units and rain water harvesting.

QMI Solutions have made the move to an impressive Graystone-owned building in the heart of Brisbane Technology Park. The 2,000 sqm facility, previously occupied by Cook Medical, has undergone a dramatic transformation over the past four months with a $2.2M refurbishment.
